Systematic improvement in re-production capabilities in terms of material energy and social and economic resources is the challenge being addressed. This project uses the town of Bitterfeld-Wolfen as an example of an extensive medium-sized town with multiple centres. The potential, resources and topics in specific parts of the town are discussed in city labs with residents, businesses and institutions.
