EHSS is investigating the conditions for success and the barriers to sufficiency-oriented urban development on a municipal level. The aim of sufficiency is to reduce the consumption of nature through social innovations, in other words by changing practices, for example in how people live and get around. How can a city development policy create the framework conditions to enable and promote a way of life that reduces resource consumption?
